About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a helpful manner and an attention to detail to work in a very fast moving but friendly and supportive local government environment. The public health team works to improve the health of the local population and reduce health inequalities through preventing ill health developing in the first place by commissioning services and working with many different partners within and external to the County Council. You will be working with the busy Public Health Intelligence and Insight Team whose role is to support the Public Health team and partners with their information and data analysis needs providing administrative and organisational support. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to learn about the specialist area of public health as well as becoming familiar with relevant information sources, software packages and developing practical skills around data analysis. A good part of our work involves using computers for long periods of time.
