We are looking for a sparkly, magical, passionate and creative person who wants to make it in the hairdressing industry. Whether your ambition is to work in a salon as a stylist, go into teaching hairdressing or even work on creative events such as London Fashion week; we will ensure that you receive fantastic training to enable you to achieve your goals!

Our journey started just 3 months ago- it's been a very busy and exciting journey so far, we are looking for an apprentice who wants to work alongside this team. You will be trained to a very high standard and shown the fabulous world of hair. You must have determination but the reward of making our clients feel fabulous makes it all worthwhile.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will be paid a minimum of £3.50 per hour and work 30-40 hours per week. Included in this will be dedicated time for you to shine; you must provide models to work your magic on to progress through your Apprenticeship.
Our internal and Oldham College's training is inspiring and continually updated to ensure we remain at the forefront of the hairdressing industry.

Generic Responsibilities:
•Build relationships with clients
•Be aware of changing fashion trends, new looks
•Practical skills such as blow drying, eventually colouring, foils and cutting
•Colour and Lighten hair using a range of techniques
• Giving aftercare advice on treatments and haircare
•Keeping the Salon to a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness.
•Consultation with clients
•Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
Cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
•Preparing work areas for stylist
•Assisting the team
•Training towards L3 qualification in hairdressing


Person Specification: Essential
Must have already passed Level 2 Hairdressing and GCSE grades A-D in Maths and English or functional skills L1 in both subjects.
Good with people
To adopt and maintain a positive and friendly attitude and to behave in a professional manner at all times
Be able to work under pressure
Energetic
Good communication and interaction skills
A willingness to learn
