Job Details:

Main role/ responsibilities

Customer Service

- All employees have the responsibility to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

- Commit to a programme of formal education to Degree level in Operations management
- Develop knowledge and proficiency in HSE and Quality management to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001
- Conduct investigations, find root causes, report findings, and deliver resultant actions within agreed timescales
- Operate enclosing machine to shift trainer standard
- Will spend time learning how to operate the fleet of enclosing machines to a shift trainer standard with an expectation that will become expert in enclosing operations
- Support the Technical Production Managers in the development, use and updating of operations documentation including standard operating procedures & training material
- Training operators and maintaining training records
- Develop knowledge of logistics departments of sortation, despatch & warehousing and importance of interface with the Manufacturing Operations
- Support the Site continuous improvement activities by engaging with operators to identify and prioritise projects
- Initiate and implement improvements by working with relevant teams so that operational issues are resolved and plant changes are introduced seamlessly
- Develop knowledge of the change control process. Lead small-scale change projects/support large scale change projects
- Understanding of operational planning tools and methodology
- Ability to stand in for planner to cover routine planning meetings
- Develop specialist knowledge of print operations and print management

Qualities / essential requirements

- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.

Desired Qualification

Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade B or above
