Business Development Assistants (Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme)
We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new team to join our Sales and Marketing department to assist in driving Triton's Trade business. To help the successful applicant start their career, this role will incorporate a 12-18 month development programme (length depending on the candidate) in which you will be working towards a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Sales (accredited by City & Guilds).
Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager you will receive all the support and training you need as well as monthly progress reviews with an assessor from Create Skills.
This new team will work closely with the field sales team to drive trade sales both from the branches and through contract volume business and, if successful, you would support 2 sales areas and be involved in all relevant aspects of sales and marketing.
The core responsibilities of the role are:
Support both the Trade Marketing Manager and Field Sales Team.
Gain appointments for Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and provide support to help Triton win new contracts business.
Help to plan and monitor ASM diaries.
Generate leads for Sales Team on a weekly basis.
Working with Barbour System to ensure accurate Customer Relations Management (CRM) downloads.
Create, develop and maintain presentation materials.
Weekly telesales calls to customers to gain orders.
The successful candidates will need:
Excellent IT skills - in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent telephone skills.
Analytical mind - able to process and analyse data.
A self motivator with a desire to succeed.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to push instructions through to completion.
The working week will be 35¼ hours based on 9.00 am - 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4.00 pm on Fridays.
