Job Description

Working in the Sustainability business area as part of the team, you will be developing your administration skills to work on different projects. This 12 month apprenticeship gives you really interesting work, whilst working towards your Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. Apply now!!

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Business Administration Apprentice Level 3. During your apprenticeship you will work towards your Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.

During the period of your apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of aspects of our business assurance programme as well as interface with different parts of our business. You will become familiar with different ISO standards, help develop and deliver policies, procedures and support their implementation. You will work on our internal and external audit programme and manage documentation and communication (internal and external) relating to the subject matter. We have a wide breadth of responsibility from supporting customer tenders, to addressing green procurement, organising events for sustainability programmes, delivering training and awareness programmes, and carrying out audits and inspections.

You will liaise with colleagues across the whole organisation including our sales and service force, management, our wider team in Europe, colleagues in other countries, external suppliers and organisations, site managers and staff at a variety of different levels. This will involve some travel around the UK.

This is an opportunity to gain experience in a governance and compliance role, as well as gaining recognised qualifications in standards auditing, whilst working with an experienced team, and having an opportunity to get involved in a number of diverse projects.

What We Ask:
Due to our location your own transport would be a definite advantage - however our location is served by a number of local bus services

Minimum 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language at Grade C or above

Demonstrate good communication skills - both written and verbal.

Be able to plan and be fully committed to meet deadlines under pressure whilst working on multiple projects.

Be confident, have a professional manner with strong interpersonal skills.

Computer literate - with a good understanding of MS Office and most of all having a "can do" attitude are key to success.

Be a self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude
Demonstrate tenacity when faced with difficult situations, people or challenges
Be computer literate and able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
And most importantly have a desire to succeed!

Further Information:

Closing Date - 30th September 2017 (please apply as soon as possible)

Location - Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey

Salary - £12,000 per annum plus 5% On target bonus scheme.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch
