Apprentice IT Service Desk Analyst Leeds City Centre £17,000 Our client, has several opportunities for Apprentice IT Service Desk / Incident Response Analysts to join their team based in their offices in Leeds City Centre. This fantastic role gives the successful candidates, an excellent opportunity to start their career in IT and achieve their IT infrastructure Level 3 Standard apprenticeship qualification. Position Summary As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will usually be the first point of contact into the Customer Service Desk. The IT Analyst will be responsible for raising and resolving all incidents as per the department's policies and procedure with the overall objective being to develop and grow relationships with the customer based on trust and respect, resulting in the happiness and loyalty of the customer. Responsibilities Your daily role will vary and will include a vast range of tasks & challenges; however, a typical day will include; First point of contact for Customers who wish to raise an incident Diagnose and resolve all incidents raised to the Service Desk Liaise with Customers and all third parties to resolve incidents and problems Escalate any problems or trends to the appropriate escalation point Provide assistance to field-based staff including Network Consultants Work towards predefined KPI targets and which ultimately ensure the department achieves its KPI targets Comply with any procedures and policies in relation to ISO standards Accurately record all information provided by the Customer Database The ideal candidate will have the following essential qualifications, skills and attributes in order to thrive in this role; Qualifications A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above that includes English Language, Maths and ideally ICT A genuine interest in IT Attributes Team Worker Customer Focused Can cope well with pressure and deadlines Good analytical problem-solving skills Excellent and clear verbal and written communication A bit about the employer This employer has 20 years' experience in supplying software and services to support the operation of over 5,000 healthcare organisations.
