NCFE, one of the UK's fastest growing, most innovative qualification awarding organisations, is looking for an Apprenticeship Administrator to join our Apprenticeship Services End Point Assessment Team.

A bit about the job…

This is a new opportunity for all Awarding Organisations (AOs) and NCFE are at the forefront of working with Independent Training Providers (ITPs), Further Education Colleges and Employer Providers to truly partner with them in the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.

You will provide administrative support to the Apprenticeship Services EPA team, which comprises of our outbound/inbound and field sales team, quality/compliance and our platform/crm functions too. The role is pivotal in ensuring the team runs effectively and efficiently.

The role of the Apprenticeship Administrator involves working accurately with a fast paced environment as we build a brand new business. This is a key role and multiple parts of our structure will rely heavily on this individual to support them in completing an array of tasks.

  • Co-ordinate team meetings and schedule management of the team for mandatory meetings

  • Completion and circulation of minutes

  • Arrange room bookings, travel and external engagements as required for the team

  • Co-ordinate marketing materials and packs for the team and across the NCFE

  • Attend events, seminars and workshops to support the team, locally and nationally

  • Monitor EPA infrastructure and resources to ensure they are utilised to the fullest and highlight to the Head of Apprenticeship Services any under usage

  • First point of contact on the central Apprenticeship Services telephone number

  • Manage answerphone message and action accordingly

  • Monitor and action the EPA inbox to ensure enquiries, requests and general correspondence is dealt with professionally, effectively and in a timely fashion

  • Facilitate internal/external client meetings with resource/ room management requirements

  • Support sales team with appointment setting and recording in CRM as required

  • Support quality and compliance team with updates to policies and regulations as required

  • Data entry and report collation from CRM and the IT platform for the team to use

  • Analysis of data

    A bit about you…

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and maths

  • Experience of working in a high paced, pressured work environment

  • Experience of working in the education sector desirable

  • Experience of supporting in an administrative function

  • Strong customer service experience

  • Knowledge of EPA assessment activities and methodologies desirable

  • Understanding of the changes from Apprenticeship frameworks to standards and the impact on the learner desirable

  • Understanding of the changes from Apprenticeship frameworks to standards and the impact on the provider and how they contract desirable

  • Prioritising and processing large volumes of work whilst maintaining accuracy

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Well organised and able to support multiple team members

Full knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
